With the 2013 football season nearing, the North Carolina football team and coach Larry Fedora have high expectations for themselves.
While the media at the ACC Football Kickoff picked UNC to finish third, senior defensive end Kareem Martin said he believes the Tar Heels can perform at a higher level than they did last year — a year in which they tied at the top of the Coastal Division.
And he has good reason to believe that considering the number of Tar Heels being named to preseason award watch lists.
UNC has six Tar Heels that have been named to nine total watch lists — and that doesn’t include the preseason All-ACC honors that Martin, safety Tre Boston, lineman James Hurst and tight end Eric Ebron were given
Here’s a list of the Tar Heels that made watch lists this preseason with the award lists they were named to:
