Like Major League baseball teams, the North Carolina baseball players are getting set for the World Series — the 2013 Fall World Series.
While college baseball season is far from being underway, coach Mike Fox’s team has been hard at work through out the summer, mostly in the form of inter-squad scrimmages.
All of that is culminating in two weekends of baseball, with teams hand picked by senior players starting on Friday at 6 p.m.
Matt Roberts and Tom Zengel will be captains for the Blue team, and Parks Jordan, Andrew Smith and Tate Parrish will be the captains for the Navy side.
Below is the schedule for the games:
- Game 1-Oct. 4, 6 p.m.
- Game 2-Oct. 5, 1 p.m.
- Game 3-Oct. 6, 1 p.m.
- Game 4-Oct. 11, 6 p.m.
- Game 5-Oct. 12, TBD
- Game 6-Oct. 13, TBD
- Game 7 (if necessary)-Oct. 15, 3 p.m.
