After putting together a historic shooting performance in the first half against Oakland last Friday, the North Carolina men’s basketball is tied 25-25 with Holy Cross at halftime.
The Crusaders went on a 15-8 run to end the half after falling behind 11-1 at the game’s start.
UNC is shooting 27 percent from the field and is just 1-for-6 from 3-point range. Holy Cross has shot 22 percent from the field.
In the season opener, UNC made 23 of 31 field goals in the first half for a 74.2 percentage — the highest in any half under Roy Williams.
UNC’s leading scorer is sophomore Marcus Paige, who has seven points on 3-for-8 shooting.
