- UNC field hockey players Emily Wold and Charlotte Craddock earned All-America honors.
- UNC confirmed that the Tar Heel men’s basketball team will compete in the 2014 Battle for Atlantis tournament held during the week of Thanksgiving.
- Last but not least, former UNC AFAM chairman Julius Nyang’oro was indicted Monday in relation to the University’s student-athlete academic scandal, University Editor Amanda Albright writes.
