UNC leads Boston College 36-32 at halftime

Behind big first-half performances from Marcus Paige and James Michael McAdoo, North Carolina leads Boston College 36-32 at halftime.

Paige leads all players in scoring with 14 at halftime, with McAdoo second with 11. Paige had only 12 total points in his last four first halves combined. Paige shot 6-for-9 in the first half, including 2-for-4 from 3-point range.

UNC started the game a bit differently, inserting Jackson Simmons and Leslie McDonald into the starting lineup. Simmons made his first career start, McDonald his second.

UNC’s 36-point output makes this the highest scoring half in ACC play so far this season.
Eddie Odio leads Boston College in scoring so far with nine, shooting 3-for-3 from behind the arc.
Both teams have shot well from the field, with UNC shooting greater than 51 percent and Boston College at an even 50.
