The final two members of the North Carolina men's tennis will make their way back to Chapel Hill from Waco, Texas after Ronnie Schneider fell to the University of Texas' Lloyd Glasspool Thursday.
After the team’s Elite Eight loss to TCU, sophomores Brayden Schnur and Schneider moved on to the NCAA singles competition.
Schnur led his first round playoff match against Felipe Soares, the 39th-ranked player from Texas Tech, before he withdrew from the match with a foot injury.
After a first round win of 6-2, 7-5 against TCU’s Nick Chappell, 28th-ranked Schneider moved onto the round of 32 held Thursday.
The defeat by Schneider’s match up, No. 42 Glasspool, ended his season. He finished with a singles record of 30-16.
