Despite holding a 20-point lead at one point, the No. 2 North Carolina men's basketball team was forced to go to a small lineup with five minutes left in the first half. With first year Luke Maye playing center, UNC allowed the Hokies to go on an 18-3 run and reduce the deficit to five at the half.
Justin Jackson leads all scorers for UNC with seven, while two other players have six and three others have five for UNC. After making his first shot, Marcus Paige has continued his shooting slump, finishing 2-8 in the first half.
