Tar Heel Tracks: Carol Folt's Summer Jams

On August 14, President Barack Obama tweeted out the links to his summer playlists (both of which are solid, by the way). The POTUS's willingness to be game made us wonder — what's on Chancellor Carol Folt's playlist?

Friend Friday: Alice, José break down Carly Rae Jepson's new album

This week, our friends have been loving Carly Rae Jepson's new album, Emotion (these friends just happen to work at the DTH). Two Faced: Drake v. Serena

Assistant Arts & Entertainment editor Ryan Schocket and Arts & Entertainment editor Sarah Vassello don't agree on most things, especially when it comes to pop culture. We've started Two Faced, a semi-regular series where we argue about current entertainment "news" with sass always and class sometimes. For round two, we discuss the emerging relationship of Drake and Serena Williams.

Track Talk: 'Let's Be Bad' is hilarious, punk rock way of saying don't tell me what to do

The Medium email (medium@dailytarheel.com) gets sent a lot of music. So much, in fact, that it's hard to go through all of it. But, man, did some public relations person know what they were doing when they sent me an email with "Childbirth's incredible, call-to-action new single, "Let's Be Bad!" New LP, Women's Rights, is out October 2nd on Suicide Squeeze" as the subject.
