Coughing students and media coverage of the recently-released H1N1 vaccine have prompted talk on campus about the vaccine, especially its effectiveness.
UNC ordered more than 30,000 vaccines, enough for every student and faculty member at UNC. It has yet to receive anything close to the full amount.
Many students are worried about the effectiveness of the vaccine. Some students plan to take it; others plan to hope for the best.
