Maybe UNC students haven’t been able to escape the reminders of our dismal female-to-male ratio (Well, dismal if you’re a lady), but I sincerely hope no one has to go to these lengths for a relationship.
Breakup Notifier, a new Facebook application devised by programmer Dan Loewenherz, lets users keep tabs on the relationship status of whichever friends they choose. It e-mails users when those people of interest are on the market once again.
Related to this application is another dubbed Unfriend Finder, which some students are using to discover which of their “friends” cancelled that hallowed Facebook friendship.
