Have you been missing your childhood lately? Well, if Disney just can’t do the job, then never fear: UNC has a children’s book collection.

Located in the SILS library, the children’s book collection contains more than 14,000 juvenile and young adult books that can satisfy your need for nostalgia. And with several sections to choose from, you can find all of your old favorites (cough Harry Potter cough).

Hit the stacks if you’re in the mood for folklore, or sit in an egg chair in the alcove if picture books are more your style. In the mood for history, but don’t want to turn to your textbook? Don’t worry – they even have a juvenile history section, complete with first- edition copies of some books.

If you really want your fill of children’s literature but you don’t want to sit around in a library, you can check your favorites out and take them home.

The library can be a little busy during the day, but evenings and weekends tend to be the most quiet times to hang around. And, unlike Davis, no food or drinks allowed.

So head on over and check it out (no pun intended). Your childhood awaits!
