While some teachers are canceling classes or excusing students who want to see President Barack Obama speak, students in the Tuesday/Thursday sections of lifetime fitness have an opportunity to move their final exam.
LFIT instructors said students could take the exam another time, which is scheduled for Tuesday, if they want to attend the event.
Freshman Stephen Thompson said he received an email saying that he was able to take his final exam on Thursday at 8 a.m., instead of Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
The email, which was sent to all students in Tuesday/Thursday LFIT sections, said the opportunity to see Obama is a once in a lifetime experience and that those who attend the event must bring their entry tickets on Thursday to receive the chance to make up the exam.
