Fall break is finally here and we could not be more excited.
Despite the Debbie Downers who say that fall break is pointless, I couldn’t disagree more.
Being caught up in midterms can be overwhelming — I’ve found myself running back between Davis and the UL endlessly. However, now that the wave of exams is over (for a few days, at least), I’ll gladly be spending my time binge-watching Pretty Little Liars and catching up on that oh-so-needed sleep.

I’ll probably go home (to Charlotte), maybe for the weekend. I haven’t thought too much about it yet.
What is a home cooked meal you are most looking forward to having for fall break?
Grilling, because I don’t have a grill where I live here.

Where are you going for fall break?
I’m going to Connecticut to see my (extended) family. My immediate family live in Thailand, and my extended family live up in Connecticut — I haven’t seen them in over a year. Most of my time will probably be spent watching football with my grandfather. Other than that, I might go hiking otherwise but there are pretty much only old people around.

TLDR; most people are going home, to see family and to see hometown friends. So, don’t feel like you’re catching FOMO and enjoy the calm before the storm.
