Man on the Street: What's the weirdest thing a professor has done on FDOC?

The first day of classes can be many things: exciting, nerve-wracking or just plain weird. Professors contribute a lot to the FDOC experience.

Staff writer Kameron Southerland asked UNC students, "What's the weirdest thing a professor has done on FDOC?"

"For an English class, we were all sitting in the classroom and the clock hit 11:15 and we heard this voice projecting out from the hallway. It was the professor and he had started his lecture as soon as the clock hit 11:15 from the hallway. He walked in, slammed the door behind him and continued lecturing for 50 minutes."

— Dylan Cohen, sophomore English and environmental science major

"My psychology professor basically admitted that he was not a good professor."

— Briseydi Castro, first year, biomedical engineering major

"My freshman year, a professor had us write a two-page paper due the next day."

— Nayira Warren, junior linguistics major
