A candidate with some extreme views is stepping forward to challenge Sen. Josh Stein, D-Wake, in 2014.
The candidate’s name is Jason Molotov Mitchell.

The Southern Poverty Law Center called Alexander “One of 30 New Activists Heading Up the Radical Right.”
Mitchell and his wife run Illuminati Pictures, which produces videos espousing extremist views, like American Christians shouldn’t condemn Islamic laws that condone stoning or polygamy because both are in the Bible.
Similarly, before the 2008 presidential election, Mitchell posted a video with Philip Berg, who was suing Obama regarding his failure to turn in his birth certificate.
Despite Berg listing his bona fides, his law license was suspended last year by the state of Pennsylvania.
Stein ran unopposed in the last election and is considered the frontrunner for N.C. Attorney General in 2016.
