Students and faculty gathered in the pit to promote the NC Pride Parade that will take place at noon, Saturday, September 26 on Duke's East Campus in Durham. UNC will have a float in the parade and anyone is welcome to ride on it regardless of sexual preference. "We want as much support as we can get," said Terri Phoenix, Director of UNC LGBTQ, "Anyone is welcome to dress up and ride the float."
