Katrina Roberson, 25, has been working at Ram's Head since the beginning of the semester. She worked at Lenoir Dining Hall for about a year in 2001, and she spent the interim years traveling and working in places like South Beach, Fla.
Roberson says she looks forward to seeing students everytime she works.
"I have a good time here as long as I can be with the students," she said.
The students, too, enjoy seeing her for dinner while she swipes them into the dining hall.
"They look forward to my eyeshadow," she said.
Roberson is one of seven siblings. Every day she styles her eyeshadow to match the personality of one of her siblings or other family member. She represents the boldness of her mother with a red or deep pink because she is the foundation of her family.
Roberson has a relationship with students that extends past the doors of the dining hall. She meets them at local clubs and karaoke bars where she says students love to hear her sing "Build me up buttercup."
