Jessica Friedman, a senior psychology and linguistics major, is enrolled in a Painting I class in order to fulfill the University's fine-arts perspective requirement. Some seniors have found it difficult to meet this requirement due to limited course availability and prerequisites.
I chose this photo because the photographer used a contributing foreground to complement the dominant focus of the painter. She also used the rule of thirds and placed her subject in the right third of her frame.
