Laura Locke works at Looking Glass Cafe, now The Honeysuckle Cafe & Bar, in Feb. 2019. Locke recently moved to the Carrboro area from Floyd, Virginia, and she works as a barista at Looking Glass Cafe in Carrboro, NC. Locke says one thing she enjoys most about Looking Glass is their commitment to connecting people to the farms and land around them. Locke is especially passionate about Looking Glass' efforts to connect customers with the land around them as well as the protection of land and water. "If we don't have land and water, what do we have?" Locke said. "[Looking Glass Cafe] is hoping to bring more people in the door and inspire them to get connected to the land."
