'Femme, Butch or Blend': Her HRC

Performers and members of the Triangle community gathered at Fullsteam Brewery in Durham on Sunday for Her HRC’s “Femme, Butch or Blend… Express Yourself.” Proceeds from the night of performance and spoken word benefited the Human Rights Campaign.

'My World In Watercolor'

Local watercolorist Anna Nicholson’s dedication to her art is made of many layers. Some of those layers are literal, as the artist reveals a few of her pieces are painted over past attempts. Nicholson is the January featured artist at Chapel Hill Art Gallery, and her artwork is on display there through the month.

N.C. Dream Team leads "March of Broken Dreams"

On Saturday, Jan 11, The North Carolina Dream Team marched from UNC Chapel Hill to the steps outside of of Attorney General Roy Cooper’s office where they staged a funeral to symbolize their fight for in-state tuition. Here was organizers and participants had to say about the march on Saturday.

18 North Carolina defeats 11 Kentucky: 82-77

Coming off of their huge road win against former #1 Michigan State, UNC Men’s Basketball had their eyes set on taking down the Kentucky Wildcats. The Dean Dome was electric this evening as they defeated Kentucky in a close 82-77 victory. Listen to Coach Roy Williams’ thoughts on the game as well as some of the key contributors to today’s victory.

Senior citizens do more at Seymour Center

After realizing the increase in senior citizens in the Chapel Hill area, Robert Seymour decided to create the Robert & Pearl Seymour Center in honor of his wife that passed away a few years ago. At the Seymour Center, senior citizens have a wide variety of activities to choose from to occupy their time.

"Stepping Through Stereotypes" Teaser

The Homecoming Step Show is an annual event put together by a representative from each of the nine National Pan-Hellenic Council fraternities and sororities. Four of the nine organizations in the NPHC competed on Friday, November 8 to kick off Homecoming Weekend. Each organization had their own individual story and journey, but before you can see our coverage in totality, check out Zeta Phi Beta’s journey. Watch the entire “Stepping Through Stereotypes” on Friday, November 15 at 7am.

Seniors Bid Farewell

After playing on Fetzer Field for four years, it’s time for the seniors on the UNC Men’s Soccer team to say goodbye. We caught up with senior Midfielders Chipper Root and Alex Walters the night before their final regular season match against N.C. State. Watch as they reflected on their four years at Carolina, and head what Head Coach Carlos Somoano had to say.
