There are a lot of things I love about Carolina. The beautiful campus, the passionate students, the prestigious journalism school and the incredible student newspaper have all made me fall even further in love with this university since I stepped on campus as a scared baby first-year.
Administrators will have the chance to listen to the stories of sexual assault survivors on campus.
There are very few good reasons to be a Daily Tar Heel columnist. It has little impact, no financial return and a bad photo of you that is widely disseminated in print. I don’t know how so many people have been swindled into taking up this mantle.

What happened?
The University of Kentucky opened a lawsuit against its student paper in August over a public record request from the paper.
In the rare moments when we are willing to imagine sexual assault, we picture dark corners, secluded alleyways and silence. Indeed, that silence makes sense; victims are often incapacitated and, more important, never break the silence with consent.

If we are serious about addressing rape culture, more men must embrace being a feminist as part of their identity.
