UNC is making an effort to educate its students on sexual assault and harassment, announcing that all students must take modules on the subject — but questions remain over the modules effectiveness.
As someone actively involved in preventing sexual harassment on campus, junior Nabil Lachgar was disappointed when he realized the ease with which students could complete UNC’s newly required sexual assault training modules.
Since its December rollout, more than 70 percent of faculty and staff members have completed the University’s required sexual assault modules.
