Editorial: Silent Sam decision is disappointing but unsurprising

 This decision was not made with the student’s best interests in mind. History will not look favorably on “the people’s University,” if the administration continues to advocate for wealthy donors instead of what is right for the University’s progress.

A small death of my soul occurs every time I hear of another slaughter. I worry that enough of these small deaths, felt as a nation, will leave no one to take a hold of the wheel and swerve us off of this terrible path.
