UNC's School of Civic Life and Leadership has undergone significant faculty turnover since its inception, hiring 11 new faculty members this August.
This fall, UNC debuted its first courses for the new School of Civil Life and Leadership. The school is offering a Civic Life and Leadership minor which “provides an understanding of the big questions surrounding civic life and leadership.”
Regulation 300.8.5, titled “Regulation on Diversity and Inclusion Within the University of North Carolina," has been the UNC System’s policy on D&I since 2019. Following a vote of the full BOG in May, this section could be replaced with a new policy entitled “Equality within the University of North Carolina."
