The No. 5 UNC baseball team (10-0) defeated Stony Brook (3-4), 16-2, on Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Pinson, who played as a guard for UNC from 2014-2018, spoke with The Daily Tar Heel about his memories of the UNC-Duke rivalry.
Few expected the UNC gymnastics team to make noise this season, but in just two meets the Tar Heels have reached new heights and showcased their ability to compete at the highest level.

“He was able to take coaching, but with the God-given athleticism that he had, he just became a great, great player,” Phil Ford said. “By the time he left Carolina, he was just an all-around skilled player that was extremely athletic.”
The Tar Heels will look to maintain their winning momentum as they face North Carolina Central University next.
Coming off of a shocking double-digit upset to Virginia last Sunday and a loss to No. 5 N.C. State on Thursday night, the Tar Heels are looking for a major rebound to get back on track against another ACC opponent.
