University cancels classes after lockdown, CHCCS dismisses students as usual

No shots have been fired on UNC's campus, according to a top University official. A man allegedly brandished a gun at Alpine Bagel over an employment-related conflict, the official said. The University sent an all-clear Alert Carolina update at 2:11 p.m.
UNC classes are canceled on Wednesday, according to an Alert Carolina message sent at 3:24 p.m on Tuesday. This comes after a UNC student is charged with first-degree murder for shooting and killing a faculty member at Caudill Laboratories on Monday.
