UNC volleyball falls to Miami in five sets on senior day

The North Carolina men’s soccer team (10-5-1, 4-4 ACC) pulled off the upset against No. 11 Notre Dame (9-5-2, 4-2-2 ACC) with a 3-1 victory, at Dorrance Field on Friday.
“After the tournament, when I was 12 years old, my mom drove us to Chapel Hill, and we strolled around campus,” Kim said. “My mom really liked the North Carolina area because I grew up in the Dominican Republic and can’t tolerate the cold.”
The Seminoles' 31-28 upset over UNC last season is proof that outcomes are unforeseeable in college football. And Saturday’s game is not any different, considering the unpredictability of the UNC football team this season.
After transferring from Northwestern, Nia Robinson has made a large impact on UNC volleyball's 9-0 start. During Tuesday's match against Elon, Robinson had 14 kills and finished all three sets with powerful spikes. During her Northwestern career, Robinson was the team leader in hitting percentage at .423 for the 2020-2021 season. The Tar Heels continued their winning streak, moving to 9-0.
Coming off an intense five-set win against Michigan, the North Carolina volleyball team defeated Elon (5-5) in three sets and improved its record to 9-0.
Liz Roberts walked on to the UNC women's basketball team roster in 2016 — and she's never looked back. Last month, Roberts was promoted to director of recruiting management and student-athlete engagement for the program.
The No. 1 North Carolina field hockey team (0-2) lost its second game of the season to No. 3 Iowa (2-0), 1-3, at Grant Field in Iowa City. UNC has not started with an 0-2 record since 1992.
This season has been anything but normal for the No. 1 UNC field hockey team. The team played an almost-full schedule in the fall and is in the midst of its spring season. Due to COVID-19, the ACC was the only conference to hold a fall season, and the Tar Heels came out on top, defeating Louisville in the ACC Championship, 4-2.
Despite the challenging schedule and tough opponents, first-year head coach Scott Forbes is looking forward to leading the UNC baseball team to success through the ups and downs of the upcoming season.
