The UNC Department of Music plans to host a grand performance on Feb. 2 to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of its founding.
“I think it is easy for us to like look at stuff in our closet and think, ‘Oh I’ve had this for a while and I don’t want it, so nobody else will want it either.' The lifespan of things is much longer than just one of us,” Whelchel said.
This Saturday, Acme will present their sixth annual Salt & Smoke Festival, an event that promises to be filled with raw oysters, local booze and live music.
