Today, we are launching the North Carolina “One State, One Rate” Campaign. We are calling on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the nation’s first public university, to grant in-state tuition to undocumented students.
Undocumented students, like all other students who go though the education system in North Carolina, are told to do well in school and go to college in order to reach their full potential.
Imagine being born in a rural area with limited resources to help you get ahead in life. You only made it to the seventh grade because you had to drop out of school to help provide for your family.
