Internet Plagiarism Growing in Popularity

The Internet has become a popular research tool for students because of the massive amount of information available there; it has also made it easier for students to plagiarize. Type "term paper" on search engine and thousands of sites appear with papers for sale on subjects from Plato to Ellison. But students who believe these papers, or other forms of plagiarism such as cutting and pasting, are untraceable and therefore unpunishable should think again. From January 2000 through May 2002 there have been 93 charges filed for academic violations at UNC.

Restaurants Offer Weekend Brunch

Cereal and Pop-Tarts might be an acceptable breakfast for students in a rush to get to their first class, but when family visits for the weekend, Cap'n Crunch and pastries don't always cut it.
