To mark a century of supporting the United States armed forces, Bank of America gave $250,000 to UNC this July to create the new Bank of America Military Families Scholarship Endowment Fund. The fund will help support students who come from military families that may have financial concerns when applying to college.
Members of the Commission met with the North Carolina Hillel Campus Director to discuss ways to make UNC a safer and more inclusive space for Jewish students.
Due to the amount of information that is typically included in them, course packs can be relatively expensive, especially when added on top of other tuition costs. Campus community members share their thoughts on whether or not course packs are worth their price.
Feb. 12 marks an annual holiday for UNC, a day dedicated to commemorating Hinton James, its very first student. Hinton James Day brought with it a variety of on-campus events as campus community members came together to celebrate the origins of the University.
