UNC to receive updates in accordance with American Disabilities Act amendments
By Joanna Dozier | October 26An update to the Americans with Disabilities Act has forced the University to make tweaks to its current offerings for the disabled. At a meeting Tuesday of the Disabilities Advisory Committee, members discussed upcoming changes to the University’s accessibility codes and accessibility map updates. But with some updates slightly cutting back from previous regulations, officials said the University is already in compliance with many of the new regulations.
