Games promote multicultural unity
By Jonathon Marchesoni | September 25A red, yellow and blue inflatable obstacle course, a tug-of-war rope and an inflatable jousting tournament brought some color to Ehringhaus Field on Saturday afternoon. The event was the second annual Masala Unity Games, which is held by Masala, a partner organization for more than a dozen multicultural groups on campus. The purpose of the games is to promote multicultural awareness by bringing together the partner groups, said Avani Patel, special events co-coordinator.
