SBP election results delayed due to Student Supreme Court injunction

The student body president election ground to a halt Tuesday when the Student Supreme Court issued an injunction that prevented the release and certification of the election’s results. The injunction to the Board of Elections to delay the release of results comes in response to a complaint filed by Deanna Santoro, the former speaker of Student Congress who resigned her position Monday.

UNC sees 110 Wi-Fi locations fail

The University is trying to find out what caused 110 campus Wi-Fi locations to lose access to the network Tuesday. Jim Gogan, director of University networking systems, said the problem began at about 3 p.m. when an engineer from one of the University’s two wireless access point manufacturers made a change on one of the devices.
