J. Victor Garcia-Martinez is a leader in HIV research at INC Center for Infectious Diseases and UNC Center for Aids Research. He was able to humanize BLT mice that are effective in experimenting on HIV prevention, specifically understanding the transmission of HIV from mother to child. One of the most engaging and kind people I have met.
