By Katie Hughes | November 16Vietnamese choreographer/performer Ea Sola will present her work, "Drought and Rain, Volume II," for its U.S. premiere as a part of the Carolina Performing Arts Series this week. She and an ensemble of 12 hand-picked dancers from the Hanoi National Ballet of Vietnam will take the Memorial Hall stage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday. "The movements are much less traditional than you might see in more mainline, contemporary dance companies," said Emil Kang, executive director for the arts for the Carolina Performing Arts Series. "Their work is much more individual."
