All it took was one quarter for North Carolina. The UNC women’s basketball team won its fourth straight game Wednesday night, defeating Marshall 75-53 at Carmichael Arena.
The No. 15 North Carolina women’s soccer team picked up another conference win, defeating Syracuse 3-1 on Sunday.

As the No. 3 North Carolina field hockey team traveled north to take on No. 18 Boston College and No. 20 Maine, one player had even more motivation.
Sophomore Morgan Lane outscored eleven gymnasts to capture first place on the balance beam, but the most important competitor she beat was herself.
It was a night of firsts and lasts. With multiple season-high scores and one career best, the North Carolina gymnastics team showed its ability to continue to improve throughout the season in a 193.550-191.225 loss to Rutgers.
The No. 2 North Carolina women’s lacrosse team was edged out by No. 7 Florida on Saturday, 16-15, for its first loss of the season.
