Drama troupe opens season with shorts
By Laura Holden | October 26This weekend, Company Carolina will offer its first production of the school year- the One Acts Festival- giving the community the opportunity to see five different plays instead of one. The festival begins today and will run until Oct. 30. While those participating in the plays have fewer lines to memorize and scenes to stage, one-act plays can still present challenges to directors and actors. Senior Katie Keenan, who directed one of the plays, said that just because the one-acts are shorter than normal, it doesn't mean they are necessarily easier to create.
