The crisis seems abstract and difficult to imagine. For people with elderly family members or family members with preexisting conditions, the threat of the coronavirus exerts a very real pressure and imprints fear on day-to-day life. My family is one of them; my mom is immunocompromised.
"Why is this question so hard to answer? To those oblivious to the torment of providing a decent reply, it would seem that we have the world at our fingertips. The mistake here is forgetting that while youth comes with opportunity, it also comes with uncertainty."
The value that immigrants bring is found in the ideas, traditions and cultures that continually enrich our town and University.
