North Carolina representatives do not often get the chance to hear directly from their constituents, but the goal of this event is just that: to amplify student voices from within the walls of our classrooms to the chambers of the North Carolina General Assembly.

The leftover aluminum will be sold to L. Gordon Iron & Metal Company as a part of UNC's environmental initiative, Three Zeros, started by Chancellor Folt in 2016.
UNC's second annual Asia Week included workshops about language, career and identity and highlighted some areas of weakness on campus. "Asian-American students are ignored and invisible to the University, especially in relation to the resources and support they receive from the administration," said Jason Oliver Chang, a professor of history and Asian-American studies at the University of Connecticut.
