The North Carolina volleyball team is no longer searching for the turning point in its season — it has found it.
RALEIGH -- The North Carolina volleyball team may have finally turned the corner. After starting the 2015 season with a record of 4-7, the Tar Heels entered Wednesday's match with two consecutive sweeps over ACC foes. And against interstate rival N.C. State (12-5, 1-4 ACC), their winning ways continued.
During the 2014 season, the North Carolina volleyball team won back-to-back matches on 26 separate occasions. But through 13 matches this season, the Tar Heels had only accomplished that feat once.
The North Carolina volleyball team proved its toughness on Saturday night in the wake of tragedy almost 24 hours earlier.
