Grad students speak up

Now they're giving the written word a chance to effect change. Graduate students, concerned about proposed tuition hikes, penned about 100 letters and e-mails this week in an attempt to sway decision makers. "It's something that was initiated by grad students who were alarmed and upset about the way the tuition proposals have been handled," said Mike Brady, president of the Graduate and Professional Student Federation.
