UNC makes the switch from Sakai to Canvas

This fall, UNC will begin the transition from using Sakai for course websites to using Canvas — the learning management system with the largest market share in North America — in its place. Instructors will have the option to use either Sakai or Canvas this upcoming semester, meaning that students may be using both learning systems for their courses.

Student Health Action Coalition provides accessible health care to the UNC community

Student Health Action Coalition, also known as SHAC, is the first student-run free clinic in the nation and is devoted to providing the UNC community with accessible and high-quality health care. SHAC is an interdisciplinary team made up of medical students, pharmacy students, nursing students and public health undergraduates. The team works together to serve patients in the general Chapel Hill-Carrboro area.
