UNC Department of Music hosts new operas, Festival on the Hill

Local bands, many UNC student led, will perform in the West Lounge of the Student Union today from 3:00pm-9:00pm as part of the first Chapel Thrill Music festival organized by CUAB. The free festival promises to thrill audiences with live performances from 8 local bands including UNC Cypher, Silent T, Spectral Herring, The Necks, NTG, Blonde and a Half and Leah Moore.
After Monday night's Grammys, UNC students partnered with the Carolina Women’s Center Wednesday to host a discussion panel focusing on gender, music and Kanye West’s penis.
