On Wednesday, the Chapel Hill Town Council met to discuss amending the Land Use Management Ordinance and a concept plan for development on 701 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

“By expanding Meantime’s footprint to the second location, there’s the potential to double the amount of staff, the amount of social impact and all of the other meaningful work we’re doing," Rose Houck, the co-founder of Meantime's second location, said.
The owner, Sam Nguyen, said she's trying to make the studio a third space for community members of all ages and abilities.
Early voting in North Carolina will occur between Oct. 17 to Nov. 2, with hours varying by day. A valid photo ID card is required to vote, which includes a North Carolina driver’s license, a U.S. passport, a state ID, a North Carolina voter photo ID card or an approved college student ID.
The council met on Sept. 25 to address the Co-Gen Railroad Transformation Project, an application to a national housing grant and stormwater issues in the Aquabella subdivision.
