UNC Police Chief and Director of Public Safety Jeff McCracken will retire in the beginning of July, the University announced in a letter on Twitter Friday morning.
O'Rourke has been to seven other college campuses since he announced his bid for the presidency.
“I don’t know what will happen to the Honor System. That’s a question for GPSF leadership, and ultimately University administration."
Both individuals also received warnings of trespass from UNC's campus and will go to trial in late April.
Chief Diversity Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor G. Rumay Alexander will be resigning at the end of this academic year, continuing a turnover trend of UNC officials.
"There are few questions I hate more than being asked more than what my music taste is. I usually stammer out a response that sounds like I’m not entirely sure what music is."
The email did not cite reasons for the extension.

On Aug. 30, Dwayne Dixon, an adjunct professor in the Department of Asian Studies, was charged with simple assault over allegations of striking editor-in-chief of Big League Politics, Patrick Howley. Along with his arrest, Dixon received a trespass notice, barring him from entering McCorkle Place, where Silent Sam once stood.
