With the goal to make the diverse history of Chapel Hill more accessible, the Chapel Hill Historical Society and Downtown Chapel Hill Partnership recently integrated QR codes at local establishments to launch a virtual, self-guided tour of the town's history.
“Carrboro is an incredibly progressive, innovative town that cares deeply about sustainability, about race, equity,” Amy Armbruster, Carrboro's chief sustainability officer said. “Working not only in my own community, but in this community that cares so much about these issues — I couldn't pass it up.”
