UNC alumni will gather this weekend to celebrate Late Night with Roy and watch the football team take on South Florida. Christian group examines faith from all sides

Students still awaiting rugs for residences

On Campus Marketing, UNC students' official source for residence hall room carpeting, has been sweeping information regarding recent carpet shortages under the rug, some students said. The early forward motion on the selection of the commencement and senior class speakers comes in light of criticism of this year's speakers. The commencement address was delivered by Wendy Kopp, the founder of Teach for America, and Jasmine Guy, of the sitcom "A Different World," gave the senior class address. Many students complained that the choices were lackluster and that their speeches didn't seem relevant to many graduating students.

New system: Swipe to print

Correction: This article states that a new campus printing system will be paid for using student government money. The money actually will come from the Education and Technology student fee. The Daily Tar Heel apologizes for the error. The University will install One Card readers at every printer on campus during the summer, according to student government officials. The readers, which require students to swipe their One Cards before printing documents in their queues, will be in place for the start of the fall semester.
