After the University announced a reduction in well-being days starting next semester, students said the change demonstrates a lack of intentionality in prioritizing wellness. The change aims to both meet academic calendar requirements and promote mental health.

The plan, which will be proposed to the UNC Board of Trustees in May, includes changes to the parking permit structure and pricing. These proposed changes lower the cost of parking but do not abolish the fees for UNC employees.
